They are pretty anxious, and because of that so damn hard to capture. This fella didn’t notice me right away. I guess he was just minding his own drilling…

* As Sherri says, spotting these birds is none too easy : photographing them is even tougher! I have some fuzzy ones from the park but nothing as good as this . . boy, that sound travels.
