Almost everyone who’s into Photoshop knows the “lens flare” filter. Well it’s not my favorite filter because it can look pretty corny when it’s not used in right the way. Lens flaring needs to be subtle and natural, as if it’s not even there.

Yes I know, the “lens flare” filter seems to be all over this shot… …But hell no sir, its all natural here. I just photographed right into the bright sunset, and hoped for a surprising result. In Photoshop I only added an ‘overlay adjustment layer’ and some ‘unsharp masking’ for extra contrast and detailing .
