Shot Notes

Kneeling down in the tall grass, with a hot burning sun on my shoulders. Everything is dry and seems to be dead. All on a perfect summer afternoon. This is what I’m reliving with this image, The power of a photograph.

“There’s a big
a big hard sun
beating on the big people
in the big hard world”

[Eddy Vedder]

    * Nice to know your thoughts as you captured this. I like the low angle and the vivid color.

    * Yes, and the more simple a photograph is, the more powerful it can become. This makes such a strong statement from so little.

    * Indeed a powerful image! Warmth, sun, detail, it’s all here! :)
