For years now I am exploring the world of digital photographing and the power of post-processing. But at a certain moment -- and I think other photographers will recognize this -- a 'situation' showed up. I was facing a growing archive filled with many, many photographs. So, what to do with the good ones? In 2005 I came up with javga.nl. I launched this photo webblog and started to share my favourite shots... with you...

Living in the Dutch countryside of Friesland* I am trying to document parts of its characteristics and habbits. Lots of subjects will show up here, but elements from the countyside are my biggest inspiration source. No, you won't find many 'people-shots' here.
